Nurse in private. Bottle it before a trip on a plane.

Fortheluvofgawd people are so "me-me-me!"

Took her three years to be “shame[d] and embarrassed”?

Amen!

Nursing is a perfectly natural and loving function, but cover up! You should be ashamed, Mom, since you obviously thought it was okay to show your breasts uncovered to the folks on the plane.

Trashy.

Nurse in private? Why? It’s not like a nursing mother is taking a leak or a dump, which could infringe upon the rights of others with odors or germs. Feeding a baby at the breast infringes upon nobody’s rights. (There is no right not to be exposed to people whose appearance disturbs or offends you.)

If the sight of a breastfeeding mother disturbs or offends you, simply avoid looking at her. I would also suggest that you seek counseling in order to discover why the sight of the female breast causes you emotional trauma.

I say let them nurse.

We allow morbidly obese people eat at a buffet. (I don’t want to see that). What is so scary about a baby having a meal. Besides if the baby is doing its business then you cant see nipple just a bit of breast.

Nursing a child is part of life. Why should she have to hide it?

You can't. The airlines won't let you take enough liquid on board to feed a baby. I have seen TSA employees make mothers throw away bottles before boarding. They won't even let you take enough powdered formula aboard to make a meal for a hungry baby. This is a serious problem because a breast-fed small baby usually needs to be fed every two hours or so.
