I thought the book was interesting and had some real points and information for preppies. There were some areas that were disjointed and were not contiguous with the story line. The ending could have been improved.

I agree with your points on the book. his other books were better I believe. his daily updates and reader suggestions at his site, survivalblog.com, are do not miss for myself. just a tremendous amount of info.

His book coulda used an editor, but the knowledge imparted is first rate.

Yep, I meant to bookmark this old thread; I want to read ALL the freeper reactions to PATRIOTS.

In another thread today, I learned that JW Rawles wife Linda Rawles died in either August or September of 2009, a few months ago. That is so very sad.

I just got a copy of his book and like it very much.

I was hoping I might find a transcript of the interview at LauraIngraham.com, but I guess you have to be a member to download the show. I’m actually rather just have a print version of the interview, but I couldn’t locate one anywhere.
