Wow WD is the worst for me. Seagate has been the industry leader with support.

Hmm..

I can count the number of WD drive's I've replaced in my 20 year PC support careeer on one hand. Seagates and Maxtors have been by the truckload. IBM (now Hitachi) used to be pretty good too, can't say for sure now.

I notice that Dell ususally replaces a failed Maxtor or Seagate with a WD.

Seagate makes very good SCSI drives though.

Oh well, I guess every person's experience is unique.
