From her upcoming album posted at her Youtube page.
I can’t bear to listen. Can someone rate it, please?
WOW!!!!! Hankie Alert!!!!
Not my “style”, but she really has a beautiful voice. It’s not bad, really.
thanks. Guess I’d like to know what Mick thinks about it. He was rather high on Devo’s version of “Satisfaction,” if I recall.
Beautiful!!
I guess there are singers that have as good a voice as hers but I find her sound most appealing.
To think she went undiscovered foe decades!
I looked for this earlier. Couldn’t find it. It was announced on BNO. It’s too slow for me. :~) I do like her though.
I agree with you on not ‘being my style’...I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the original Stones version....however, I think Boyle’s interpretation of this song is noteworthy.
What an incredible voice, and what an incredible choice. She created an entirely different song. I give it a 10.
Ditto
I was prepared not to like it but it is just beautifully done.
Reminds me of what Teal’c on SG-1 would say now and then, “Undomesticated equines could not remove me.” :-)
Yikes!!! How can you say such a thing? This is an amazing piece of music by a truly talented gal. Sharpen your music ears a bit and listen yourself. It's a thing of beauty.
And I would add that the really amazing thing is that music like this can still be popular. Maybe there is still hope for the human race - although we will have to wait until the current crop of teenagers matures (several decades) to find out.
Is her backup band named “Wyld Stallions”?
She reminds me a tiny bit of Sarah Brightman when Sarah is holding back, singing softly.
“Wild Horses” is a beautiful song.
Susan Boyle has a beautiful voice.
But I don’t think they go together that well. Ms.Boyle has more of a showtune/opera voice, and Wild Horses calls for a voice that is a bit more twangy and bluesy.
This isn’t bad, but it suffers in comparison to the original.
OK, let me get my asbestos suit on.
At first I was going to remark on the dry, academic sound of this remark but then I realized that you made a dry, academic sounding pun.
can’t be any worse than Pavarotti “interpreting” “It’s a Man’s World.”
