I don't think you know Poodles very well. A friend of mine and his wife have 2 standard Poodles who chase and kill a lot of rabbits. They also ran down and killed a deer. Big tough dogs and very, very fast. Long legs.

I also had a little female miniature Poodle that I found and rescued from the street (couldn't find the owner) who wasn't afraid of much of anything and would attack anybody I told her to go get. She may have only been able to bite their ankles, but she wasn't afraid and was a good watch dog also.

Maybe you meant a Yorkie or Chihuahua. OK Yorkie and Chihuahua owners, start flaming. I like just about all dogs.

Yes it Is very sad what has happened to the British lion.

This once formidable, resilient nation that alone stood up to Hitler and established the rule of law around the world has become a nation of wimps. It saddens me very much and I fear America is on the same path.

A full-size poodle is smarter than a German Shepherd (*that* is saying something!) and tougher than most other dogs. They are hunting dogs not to be meddled with.
