The “SO???” is be sure to make use of “restore points” if you are a MS victim ... so you can go backwards in time if “undocumented features” of an update ruin your computing day.

I don’t use the restore point...eats up mem and hd space,
besides, if the restore point includes a timed released virus you are stuck.

Yep. I ran Healthcheck,
okay. Set a restore point.
Installed the updates

without worrying.
But on my HP laptop
the updates work fine.

Doesn’t work when it won’t even boot — spent an HOUR online with MS tech support yesterday. 5 people on my block ALONE had their hard drives corrupted with this update. Restore doesn’t work when the drive is FRIED.
