Rose should not be allowed to make an acceptance speech. Death will deny him his moment of vindication, but not deny him his immortality as one of the greatest players of all time.
I agree completely. Let the lifetime ban be just that. When Rose has passed on, induct him. I would also apply the same rule to Shoeless Joe. Since his lifetime ended many years ago, induct him in posthumously now.
