This is a link to a thread posted by Freeper Jeff Gordon at 11:05pm last night. I think Jeff is right, this article is a must read, and wanted to give those of you who weren't reading FR late last night a chance to see it.

The link to his thread is active above and I'll repeat it here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2321828/posts

Somehow I expected this. The rats will do anything to stay in power, and lobbyist will be more than happy to comply with their requests. The risk to the lobbyist is that when the rats lose in 2010, they’ll have to scramble to get back on the Republican’s good side. And no matter what party you’re in, if some people are trying to screw your reelection campaign, you will remember and pay them back big time.

Well, you may have supplied a hint at information that I was wondering about last night. Why, if the public option was never supposed to succeed, the ‘fishy’ government website collecting names of dissenters? Rahm and Obama just want to know who stands in the way of the 2010? Fodder for the ‘fairness doctrine’.I can’t see them launching that website in such a public and inflammatory way and then ignore public outcry for so long unless it was a bigger key to the puzzle than I expected.
We all suspected it was intended to silence dissent and target those most successful at dissenting, but this article makes it seem like that website is also part of something else.

Very interesting and insightful. I think it all makes sense up until August 1st when the outrage of the public swept away the power of the Dems and their coalition.
The GOP is in the position of trying to keep up with what is unfolding because they had nothing to do with it.
I don't care how much money the lobbyists give to the dems and their vulnerable incumbents the voters are going to sweep them out in 2010. Just line up the most conservative candidates you can and watch the blood flow.

Whew! Wheels within wheels. It’s not a conspiracy theory if a conspiracy is under foot.
Apparently none of these blue blooded maniacs believed that the American people would have a voice in the matter. I trust all the liars, frauds and thieves will go down in flames.
