......... while Boxer's popularity swings with the tides and rarely reaches beyond the magic 50% level.
Every six years, Republicans believe that with just the right candidate and just the right amount of money, they can knock off the woman they love to hate. And they are heartened again by a new poll showing Boxer barely leading the most likely 2010 challenger, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.

Excerpt: The Rasmussen Reports poll found that 45% of California voters support Boxer's re-election with Fiorina at 41% and 7% undecided, much closer than a March poll. Fiorina isn't a declared candidate yet and also would have to defeat Chuck DeVore, a very conservative Republican legislator, for the GOP nomination.
me thinks, she’s been “hanging” for 30 years
Didn’t Carly screw up hewlitt-packard and then get rewarded with a very golden parachute?
I’m confident that the GOP can take this seat.
Well, you know, there are a large number of folks walking around here, saying, “I will vote for Boxer”. They say that almost transe-like, and have evidence of having had lobotomy surgery.
Everyone I know can’t stand Barbara Boxer I hope we can throw her ass out in 2010. Never could stand that nasty witch.
She’s nasty and then some! I question her qualifications as well.
I have heard that former radio talk show host Larry Elder may also be interested in the race.
Dang. I misread the title. You had my hopes up there for a minute...
Then this race could very well be a struggle for Boxer.

I hope that's true!
And yet she would still be a gigantic improvement over Boxer...
Same here...I have missed him since he left his radio show.
This Saturday (August 15th), Boxer will be doing a booksigning at the Barnes and Noble on Stevens Creek Blvd in San Jose. Richard Geno and the Conservative Forum are sponsoring a protest at 1230 outside of the store. The more the merrier.
I wish I could be there! Tell her we want no part of any socialist healthcare system and ask her where’s Hussein’s birth cerificate?

i used to frequent the B&N during my lunch break way back... before i moved to the Central Valley...
Put up another milquetoast liberal RINO like Fiorina and she’ll win again. She’s one of the most vicious campaigners on the Dem side, and she has never lost a race since she came to DC in 1983.
And who would you prefer to run?
