Question, do you get solar power when it rains or snows?
No but they don't race on those days either. Considering the fact that they only have a couple of peak usage days per year, seems like they would be better off installing the panels and making a deal with the power company for free energy. After all, even the less than ideal conditions at Pocono will likely produce more energy in a year than they will use in 6 or 8 days of peak usage.

Actually, any unused electricity that they produce is bought by the electric company.
