A jumpy cat caused a distraction, report says

HOLLYWOOD - After a Hollywood police officer rear-ended a car in February and then arrested the driver on drunken driving charges, he and other officers talked about doctoring the report -- it said a jumpy cat created a distraction -- to cover up the crash.

The exchange was recorded by a dashboard camera in one of the patrol cars. The officers apparently didn't realize it was on.

Dumbasses. The drunk was driving better than the cop who rearended her, so they fill out a false police report.

Alexandra Gabriela Torrensvilas, 23, of Hollywood, ended up being charged with four counts of drunken driving...

How many cars was she driving?

At least the tape survived.

Too often, the camera “must’ve been turned off” or “the tape was lost” when it doesn’t match the filed report.

Another example of the “new professionalism” that Scalia must have been referring to.

"How many cars was she driving?"

That's a lot of leap-frogging.

Corruption is rampant in LE community, good ones have to cover for the bad ones or no one has their back.

Nothing unusual here except for the proof that most cops are liars.

Maybe next time the cops will "do a little Walt Disney" on you or on me -- to "protect a cop", of course.

“proof that most cops are liars”

Yep, and most blacks are lazy, most Jews are greedy, most Pollocks are stupid................ There are bad apples in every bunch, but that hardly means most cops are liars.

Now if you had said ALL Politicians are corrupt liars that should be in prison, that would be an indisputable fact.

Nice straw man there. Race has nothing to do with it.

What it does have to do with is the fact that the ones who don’t WANT to be lying scum have to go along with the dirtbags. Or at least the institution of “Law Enforcement” has convinced many that they MUST go along with it.

How many “bad apples” does it take to be convinced that the whole damn truck is spoiled? I think there’s been more than enough. The only thing different here is that the cops unintentionally let their “usual business practices” get recorded.

I was rear-ended by a truck on a neighborhood street a few years ago.The truck driver and the cop were obviously buddies by the way they were laughing and talking to each other. The cop made it clear that he didn't want to hear my story...or the story of a pedestrian who happened to witness the incident and was saying that the truck was speeding.I was ticketed and appealed and the appeal was granted...so I wasn't surcharged or get any “points” against my license.

Most government institutions are inherently corrupt. Absolute power tends to have that effect.

I wonder how many times things like this happen that don’t come to light? And some people wonder why others are suspicious of the police, their tactics and their mindset....

If this is an example of your use of logic, nothing you say is worth reading.

What you quoted is an example of a statement of fact. An example of my logic would be my supposition that you are a badge licking panty waist who can’t offer anything to a conversation other than kneejerk reaction statements.

It was not a straw man. Those were just examples of stereotyping. I could have said all Priest are pedophiles. That would have been just as true as your all cops are bad mentality. There are 100,000’s of cops in America. Most are hard working honest folk that want to clean up their communities.

You watch too many movies about corrupt police that you think ALL of them are bad. But you are wrong.
