Yeah, except it’s apples and oranges. Unless you think the people who registered the births actually sat and typed this document, then wrote in the boxes?

Or possibly it came that way, from a printer?

By ‘printer’, I mean printshop, not computer printer.

That’s true; as I was reminded here, proportional fonts were common in typeset documents back then, but I sensed the whole “look and feel” of the form just didn’t belong to the era.
