Before synthetics all dyes came from nature...Some even from dried bugs, but I never heard of horse urine being used for dye...Not strong enough except in smell...Even bark from trees were used for dye....

Horse urine is used in the manufacture of certain medications...Back in the 40's drug companies paid preg. women to collect their urine..My mother had a friend that use to do that...they would even supply the proper containers for the collection...It was extra money during hard times....depression didn't end until WW2
