"It’s been a year or more since I researched and analyzed that nutjob."

What a nutjob. To actually believe in the constitution and free markets and freedom, sound money, the rule of law. There is definitely something wrong with that kind of thinking.

"I am just absolutely convinced that the best formula for giving us peace and preserving the American way of life is freedom, limited government, and minding our own business overseas."

Ron Paul

"I have never met anyone who did not support our troops. Sometimes, however, we hear accusations that someone or some group does not support the men and women serving in our Armed Forces. But this is pure demagoguery, and it is intellectually dishonest."

Ron Paul

"Our country's founders cherished liberty, not democracy."

Ron Paul

"A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine."

Thomas Jefferson

"The moral and constitutional obligations of our representatives in Washington are to protect our liberty, not coddle the world, precipitating no-win wars, while bringing bankruptcy and economic turmoil to our people."

Ron Paul

"I am absolutely opposed to a national ID card. This is a total contradiction of what a free society is all about. The purpose of government is to protect the secrecy and the privacy of all individuals, not the secrecy of government. We don't need a national ID card."

Ron Paul

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government."

Thomas Jefferson

"Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do."

Benjamin Franklin

"An enemy generally says and believes what he wishes."

Thomas Jefferson

"Commerce with all nations, alliance with none, should be our motto."

Thomas Jefferson

"During war, the laws are silent."

Quintus Tullius Cicero

Yeah we must all think like Proud2BeIgnorantRight.

Freedom. We are free to do what the government tells us the do,

Constitution. Who needs it. Only "nutjobs" quote that old document,

Free markets. Hey without the government licensing, regulation and taxing, a free market can't exist,

Sound money. Damn if the government needs money it'll just go borrow it or simply print as much as it wants,

Rule of law. The government is the law and we must obey at all times.

I guess Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were "nutjobs" as well?

I find this interesting in light of the situation with our domestic economy and a president that is decreeing his policies through unelected czars and the executive branch.

Interesting post! Thanks!
