Oddly enough, newsprint is unprinted newspaper paper. The Enquirer would be newspaper.

Thank you so much for taking the time to point out the difference. On subsequent occasions when I am making a smart-assed comments about the media I will be sure to use the proper terminology. Oddly enough, I will sleep better tonight due to your efforts in policing syntax on the web.
