My Treasure
I kiss her cheek and smile soft
her spirit brightens so to loft
and in the moment both understand
that for all time nothing is banned
The grace of youth becomes a tale told
and her eyes reflect the joy grown old
I treasure her for the gift she has been
and hope I become the same now and then
Good morning, JOHNN. Thank you for sharing today’s poem.
I haven’t posted today’s Opening yet, but hope you will come to the July thread later.
