Like it here except for winter & NO ocean. I will hopefully be somewhere else by 2010.. God willing
Lots of good stuff to do in area & very good with parks/green areas, which is great for dogs, biking, kayaking

I imagine the lake effect has something to do with your winter? Never been there but it looks like a good starting off point for doing some great exploring.
