Hi, Dolly - sounds like you're covered up as usual! If you like, I'll loan you my decorator to take some of the artistic pressure off you. :)

Hello to the “bestest friends” ever! I was having such a great time on the thread this morning and what a cute thread it was and I innocently later went on my way to go to the doctor’s office! And wham, bam, that maam rear-ended me so hard, I really think I was dazed for a moment. What a busy and discouraging day it turned out to be. All the stuff with the police, etc. and when it was winding up the lady and I were standing side by side and the officer looked at her and said “you know this accident was your fault and your insurance will be responsible for all her financial needs due to this accident.” She said she understood.

I have the best insurance man in the world! I had called him and he came very quickly in case I needed any advice.By then my granddaughter had come (she had been at my house swimming). The strangest thing, her mother in law came by the accident and realized that it was me. So she went to the nearest street and came back. When I looked up and saw a friendly face, I was thrilled. At that moment, I was still in my car. She is the one who called my granddaughter.
She tried to call my son but couldn’t get him.

Anyway, my insurance agent took me to the place to get me a car to drive until we get the reports on my car. He definitely said he thought it was totaled. He also said that it was a wonder that I wasn’t hurt badly.

If I hadn’t had my seatbelt on, my body would have slammed into the steering wheel and I think my head would have broken the windshield. I am a little bit sore and especially where the seat belt was and right in the middle of my chest! I will be careful and will see how I feel in the morning and make a decision whether to go to my medical doctor or not! About 4:00, I finally called the orthopedist to tell his office why I didn’t keep my appointment.

Thank all of you for your sweet thoughts and comments. And I think today’s thread was one of the cutest ever!!

I told yorkie the safest place for me to be is right in front of my computer at Amy’s Place, smiling and having fun! The roads are dangerous! You can be innocent as the dickens and someone who isn’t paying attention can rear-end you and change everything for you. The angels were with me today and it could have been worse and I am thankful!

Will peek in tomorrow, but have a lot on my schedule tomorrow also. Goodnight, friends! And thank you! (I loved my little car, it was a cream puff...I mean it!)
