Sorry, won't be able to join y'all. We'll be heading North next week to visit family and celebrating a 90th birthday for my FIL - A WWII Submarine Sailor. His actual BD is in Oct, but summer is the time when friends and family are able to attend. Plus, the weather is much more pleasant than Oct. Hard to guess when the snow and freezing temps will begin, plus who wants to have a picnic in the park wearing foul-weather gear?
BTW, is an annual FResno FReeper Picnic scheduled after Labor Day? We would likely be able to attend this year after missing the last two years.
I’ve been shopping - grandaughter’s and daughter’s birthdays coming up. Did you talk about me? LOL!
I hope we can have a picnic next year and you can come to that one. We've missed you and Mrs. DD.

Well, here in West Texas, it comes on again at 1am. Don’t
know exactly where you are, but we are in Central Daylight Time.
I look forward to seeing it. We are TiVo-ing it just in case I get sleepy. I do have to work tomorrow! LOL!

We cancelled this year’s picnic because of the convention and a general lack of interest. We will see how much interest we get next year.
Our attendance has been slowly heading south.
Thanks for letting me know - I didn’t even see your post, here! BEARS? Small bears come from BIG bears! Oh goodness, JC! We must carry some tear gas or pepper spray on our belts when we go outside! (Or, even something stronger!) I think all the animals look for water - like my sprinklers - are all full of water - and I have seen deer lick them - along with javelina and lots of birds.

Com’mon over - I’ve got LOTS! (Tartar sauce will cost ya extra, tho.) LOL!

I’m with you, JC! I won’t eat anything that has a face on it. (Let alone poached food. The only thing I like poached, are eggs. Period.)

I’ve been absent some this week, too. Too much going on here.
Think maybe we should take up hunting ‘close to home’...LOL! I guess I should watch the local news more, don’t you? Well, there wasn’t anything I could do anyway but worry so guess its good to know when its all over. Now if that little bear had knocked on my door, that would have been a different story...LOL~~~(I’ve been cleaning up my email tonight.)
I am a fish lover! Any kind of seafood I really love. I am glad I’m not allergic to shellfish as you are...thats terrible. Were you always allergic to shellfish?

If he said anything, I missed it too! I just happen to have it on this time. A few days ago I knew he was going to be on there.
If that little bear had knocked on your door - you could have given him a nice bowl of porridge, let him sit in your comfy recliner, and let him take a nap on your BIG bed! (Goldilocks!)
