iTunes for Obama? Apple Posts "Hope and Change" Playlist
Newsbusters ^ | May 13, 2009 | Tim Graham

For the i-Pod-less, there are many playlists that are created by users, but the "Essentials" lists are made by Apple. It says it was posted April 28, but sounds like it was posted January 20. See the goopy Obama-loving text that came with the songs:

Welcome to the beginning of a new era in the U.S. – Barack Obama's history-making win is really a victory for all those who keep the faith and firmly believe that people have the power to make a change. John Lennon was one of rock ‘n' roll's most determined dreamers, and the better world he dared to "Imagine" may finally be within our grasp. ["Imagine there's no Heaven," and Obama makes it happen?]

Obama's goose-bump-inducing victory speech on election night referenced Sam Cooke's dare-to-dream statement "A Change Is Gonna Come," envisioning a future where spirit plus soul equals a brand new day – just the kind Bruce Springsteen started planning for in the wake of 9/11, when he forged his anthem "The Rising."

Barack Obama's history-making win

What historical win? He got affirmative action from the press and a couple of extra percentages because people thought he was going to send them a huge stimulus check. Now, they're reaping what they've sown.

If I were an Oboma supporter before the election, I wouldn't want to admit it in public now.

Those companies who are using the pre-election Oboma character for profit are wayyyyyyy behind the times. I'd fire the advertising agency trying to still use it. They're obviously not very good at following trends.

-”HOPE” he falls off the face of the Earth along with the entire administrations.
-”Change” the Government and make it smaller!

That’s my definition “Hope and Change”!

"A Change Is Gonna Come,"

Hmmmm. According to the book of Daniel, the Antichrist will "have a stout voice", come as "a minister of change" and will "rewrite the laws."

Just a coincidence?

What historical win?

Anyone who wins a presidential election has made history. The great ones, the scoundrels, the ones in the middle have all made history. Every American history book has a list of presidents. Obama is now on one of those lists. BFD.

Just a hunch here ... but maybe, just maybe not all of their customers are right wingers? I don't know ... just guessing.

You do know that Microsoft hasn’t been involved with that network for years? They have 18% control (basically no real control) and they regret ever starting the venture in the first place.

Hell it’s not like they started the network with the hope that it would become the cesspool that it is today. Back in 1996 it was actually a halfway decent network, albeit sometime boring.
