The modern UFO sighting is unique to the modern age and its understanding of technology and the universe.
Previous to this all such “sightings” were of a decidedly more mystical bent.
Wow. That’s amazing. Somebody gives the phenomenon a name, in this case U.F.O., and suddenly it is only part of the century the name came from?
Under the same logic, I suppose Hope and Change is also fresh and new, and un-heard of prior to the 21st century? And you folks think UFO people are gullible or diluded?

More than a few of the early artistic renderings of the UFO’s are virtually carbon copies of some of the modern photos and drawings.
