A couple of quick notes. I am not the most computer savvy person in the world. I will try my best to post everyone on Zuben's ping list. If I miss anyone, I apoligize in advance. Also, you may not see any fancy graphics and stuff. Please feel free to post any Masters related photos, graphics and the like, to liven up the thread, thanks!!!
Finally, let's keep the discussion related to the event and the play at hand, not any unproven and shouldn't even be mentioned chat concerning the number one player in the world.....OK? OK!!!!
HAVE AT IT EVERYBODY!!!
If Tiger wins, is he alone at second with the Masters? I know Arnold Palmer won four and Jack Nicklaus won 6, but have any others won 5?
Nice warmup tourney, but I can wait until the majors start next month with the TPC.
I will take the easy route and go with Tiger. He seems to be in form after his long layoff.
Place Holder...will do some pics and stuff later in the week.
Not sure Tiger has all his game yet, but it would be something for him to be in the hunt on the back on Sunday, like tied for the lead at 16?
G
I’m going! Practice round only, but I’m making my first ever trip there...leaving tomorrow!!!
1. Tiger
2. Someone else
Springtime has arrived.
PINGS TO THE GOLF PEEPS!!!!
Put me on the Masters ping list - please and thank you.
Wow, that was quick! I see I am already on the list.
Short of that I'd like to see a fight to the finish on Sunday between Tiger and (19-year old) Rory McIlroy.
But ... but ... but ... they still don’t allow women to be members!
Is it possible that the Masters will outlive The New York Times?
PINGING THE ONES I MESSED UP.......
cause, I’m stupid, like Zero is......
We’re all here now!!
One of my favorite childhood memories is of the 15th tee box at Augusta 1970. I was standing with my Dad on the back of the tee looking down on the 10th green watching Sam Sneed putt out. I sensed someone behind me and turned around to see Jack Nickolas standing there also watching. We watched for a bit, then he turned around and hit a 300+ yard drive down the 15th fairway. I was muchly impressed!
Then there was the time that Tiger overshot the 17th Green and his ball rolled into my Dad's food. But that's another story.
My uncle who had the tickets, and, my Dad have both passed now, so, even if I could get tickets, I don't know if I would go. We had a great time!
Who picked Immelman last year?
Poor Greg... never won, and back again this week for what is probably his final appearance (unless he qualifies for next year through play).
Tiger is the man to beat!
The dogwoods and azaleas will be a wonder sight for us!
Anyone know the odds for Villegas? He’d be my high-stakes pick.
Tiger won’t pay well, but he’ll probably win.
Hey I hear if you buy a 500 buck driver from Golfsmith’s and Sergio wins you get it for free...GO SERGIO!!!...:o)
My question is how will the cold weather early in the week affect the practice rounds? I would think this would hurt Master’s rookies more than the vets. So I’d bet on an experienced player winning. The number pick, Tiger. I’m going to throw in retief goosen as my dark horse. He’s had a couple of down years, but is playing better and likes Augusta.
