The first ladies of fashion: Michelle Obama and Sarah Brown set the style standard

Dressed in a cream embellished cardigan and green gingham skirt, Michelle Obama practically shimmered in the early morning sunlight today as she and her husband arrived at 10 Downing Street.

The US First Lady, who has been hailed by the fashion press as a modern-day Jackie O, was not clad in high-end designer labels as one might expect someone of her position to wear. Instead, the glamorous 45-year-old opted for a spring-like ensemble from American high-street favourite J Crew.

Michelle’s style consultant should be sued for malpractice.

Please post the picture (I can’t from my phone).

The sweater is too small. The skirt is not a good fit either; she has mutliple bracelets (competing textures; pearl/some brown beady thing/and what looks to be a diamond tennis bracelet.)

And then the Brits call Mrs. Brown ‘austere.’ How about appropriately dressed for a middle aged woman at State appearance? And her ensemble doesn’t look like it fits well either. DOESN’T ANYONE TAILOR ANYMORE???

There's nothing wrong with what either of them are wearing. They're dressed like any women in my office on any given Tuesday.

Michelle's ass is huge because the press blows so much smoke up there.

I really like Mrs. BO’s outfit. However, why does she button 3 buttons and make it obvious that the bottom 4 won’t button (because it’s too tight around that part of her body)?

Just wondered.

Michelle’s Spanx told on her. Perhaps she should invest in the Spanx slip.
