Wow, I didnt know turbojet engines carried oxidizers in order to work properly....Gee, next time I fly, I'm gonna have to look under my seat or in the overhead for the LOX tank...

What do you think those oxygen masks are attached to that drop down if cabin pressure drops? It’s a little known fact that when people suck on those things, engine fuel mixtures get rich.

They fly at speeds and altitude where they can be naturally aspirated. If you wanted to fly the same engine at extreme altitudes you would need oxidizers or enough speed to compress the available atmospheric oxygen to maintain ignition. Jet engines wont work because they “blow out” the flame at those speeds.
