Here, I made a user script to remove all stories containing the word "Catholic" in their title or short summary. You will need the Firefox extension called Grease Monkey, which lets you insert custom scripts into web pages, modifying the way that they display. Please let me know if you have any questions. This can also be modified to use different words as the filter. Enjoy.

Aside from strictly religious threads, it should be remembered that the Pope is a legitimate head of state and both he and a number of bishops make legitimate political statements (about Biden, Pelosi, Sebelius, etc.) that are VERY RELEVANT to conservative politics.
