I tried that. I stretched it wide, then closed it, then clicked on a link again and its still small.

Was every instance of IE closed, including the one with FR open in it, at the the time you closed the newly resized window?

Somewhere in the options section of the browser Tools menu is setting that tells it to remember the size of the closed window and go with it every time a new window is opened. If that’s not set correctly you’ll see the behavior you’re describing. This drove me nuts for several months!

You have to close all instances of IE running, leaving the window you stretched for absolute LAST.

I think that may be where the problem is. Try again.
