Morgellons - Possible Root Cause (written by a Freeper)

I realize this isn't a political issue but it's a serious disease loose in the land. Take a look at this practical appraoch to Morgellons and see what you think.

Does this identification mean anything? I do not know

The CDC has published some *real* science on this. go to the CDC site and search there. They are also looking at an investigational study.

You actually think I don’t know that?

So Morgellons may be caused by a subcutaneous infestation of tiny insects normally found in soil, is this the short version? And that it is not new.

Very nice. Interesting if true.

As a layperson on this subject who has done some research, all studies and doctor’s personal examinations point to this being a mental disorder, and its unlikely to changed as no evidence to the contrary has ever showed up.

By the way smart guy, the CDC hasn’t published any science yet, none. I never claimed to be scientist ...

Very, very interesting...from a lay person.

Very curious, however, why the author would provide the link about how beneficial bacillus subtillis can be, but then discourage anyone from using it??

The “CDC” has basically already put an end the DOP label and sent a letter out telling doctors basically not diagnose it as such, they know this is a real physical ailment. As far as Morgellons being all in ones head, that is a dead issue.

Anytime you take a soil bacterium into your body you're taking a chance, there is much writing on this subject, they were putting such things of probotics even recently, I've seen some big apologies come from those who were once recommending them.

If you have some links to the negatives on this and would provide them, I’d appreciate it...I don’t doubt you, but I’m having trouble finding them through all the sites proclaiming the benefits.

I currently take probiotics and am looking into SBO’s for my brother who has cancer...

Good day to you.

Does this point the way to a cure??

Like I said, there is NO evidence to the contrary. People by the thousands post pictures of lint and skin flakes, tell about how lemons, milk, yogurt, etc. aggravates and attracts the buggers, tell of anecdotal evidence of crawling meanies on and in their skin, and yet NOT ONE doctor has ever been presented with any evidence. I’m sorry, but all the evidence presented points to no evidence and a clear mental disorder. I feel for you, but you’re CURE doesn’t rest in faux science, collecting lint samples, sequencing DNA of common environment bacteria, or telling people that disagree with you that they are wrong. The onus is on the “sufferers” to prove this is a valid medical condition other than a mental illness, and I guarantee you, this will not happen, because it doesn’t exist. Good luck with your recovery, I know it must be hell.

Before you can search for a cure, you have to establish that there's a real disease. So far, maybe there is, maybe there isn't, seems to be the status of this.

When I lived in So. Calif. a few years ago a Los Angeles news channel interviewed a family that were suffering from Morgellons. The Mother & her two sons were "infected" were the words they used.

The Mom had had long beautiful red hair, still did on one side. The other side had fallen out due to the sores if I remember correctly.

They also interviewed a woman Doctor from San Francisco, who was working with the family and took the ailment very seriously,as I do. May God help you find the answers you need and comfort & heal you!
