Two points: 1. Notice that it was the first year for her as a teacher. 2. She is extremely ugly. She became a teacher to get a boyfriend. We will probably learn that she was the virgin and he was teaching her.

LOL! I went to school with a “Jethro”. He was 15 years old and still in the 5th grade. Everyone wanted him on their team when we played football.

Oh, there’s plenty - It’s just that there are SO many, they’re not worth reporting anymore...
The female teacher angle is at least still a ‘man bites dog’ scenario (so far)...so the dying newspapers can still sell an extra copy or two (most likely to the victims buddies) by running with it...

Some areas of West Virginia are indeed rustic, but if you read the article you’ll find out the the student and teacher aren’t actually from there. They’re from Massachusetts.

I think he was referring to Holyoke, MA, where the two are from. As I told him, it’s far from rustic. More like the South Bronx was in 1980, right down to the native tongue.
