One of the unanswered questions concerning Health and Human Services Secretary-designate Tom Daschles tax problem is why it suddenly occurred to Daschle, in June 2008, that the car and driver he had been provided by a wealthy Democratic donor in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 might count as income and thus be subject to taxes taxes which Daschle had not paid.

Is there a transcript of the closed-door meeting with the senators?
I asked the SAME question of Tim Geithner!! WHO KNEW THEY DIDN’T PAY THIER TAXES FOR YEARS???? Did O have a CPA go thru their taxes? Or did THEY just TELL O they hadn’t PAID THEIR TAXES?? hmmmm.
What other perks did he recieve nad not pay taxes on?
He need to be audited.
The Obamessiah nominated him to be HHS Secretary!!
So who is the 'wealthy Democrat donor' and why did he/she think it worthwhile to spend all that money on a political parasite like Daschel?
Inquiring minds would like to know.
Talk about literal limousine liberal.
Demonocrat donors are frequently objects of extreme curiosity. So many are from the mysterious East, don’t you know.

Tax Cheat Monkey
I find it extremely funny that the Democrats, to include their lemming followers, always proclaim how stupid Republicans are.
And yet, we have Democrat after Democrat claiming stupidity over their tax fraud.
I’ve wondered the same thing. If the nomination process exposes tax cheats, let’s “nominate” every elected official in DC..
Nominating and confirming tax cheats is nothing short of a disgrace. The whole lot may as well go drink beer, throw the empties on the tomb of the unknown soldier and take a whiz on every grave in Arlington.
