Actually, the actor's legs are quite easily visible from about 2:15 to 2:51 on the video.
It is a robot dyno; I ran it a few times more and I think that I saw what you were talking about a couple of times, and I believe that it is a connection speed issue. There are a few frames where there is sufficient light to see that there is no human there.
