Having had a 70 lb. Standard Poodle, I can confirm that being attacked by one is no joke.

Maybe so but that one in the picture is an ankle biter.

I don't know about you but my husband would probably say his 70...no...make that 100 pd dog bit him. Poodle would never leave his lips :')

This wasn't a Standard. This was the size of a Toy. I guarantee you no Toy could do any damage whatsoever. We often have to tell our Toy (7 lbs and 8” at the shoulder) that he's living up to his name — “Spike” so he won't be discouraged. When he gets mad, everyone ignores him — including the Boxer/Pit-bull. It must be frustrating. He is, however, easily distracted with a hug or kiss which helps. He forgets why he was upset.

The article is confusing. It refers to a poodle, but also refers to a Maltese. The dog pictured with him looks a lot more like a Malt than a poodle, doesn't it?

He was attacked by a freaking dustmop!
