When the news came that John McCain was poised to nominate a maverick female with executive experience in local government and as a governor to be his vice presidential running mate...

McCain is not a maverick.

McCain is a Manchurian Senator, a Rat saboteur and a "loose cannon" designed to inflict maximum damage on the conservative movement from within.

The irony is that his idiot advisers actually stumbled into a real conservative who, albeit flawed, at least shows some promise.

Why recycle the garbage?

Whitman, incompetent RINO, could not carry her own state.

Even Farmer, reflexive liberal that he is, would have voted for hope and change.

Who is he kidding? Chrisite Whitman seems like a nice enough person, but it’s a stretch to call her a conservative. I voted for her. She wasn’t a maverick, she was there when the Florio showed the true face of the democrat party in New Jersey. If Jim Florio was a better liar, he’d probably be president by now. New Jersey elects schmucks. Look at Frank Lautenberg, Robert Torricelli, Jim McGreevey, and John Corzine. Harrison Williams anyone? The state’s symbol should be bread and circuses and the motto, “Let them eat cake.”

Any minute now, the DNC will start trotting out the old ‘You know, Ronald Reagan was a democrat,” line. What a crock.

More RINO propaganda. They are determined to go off the cliff like lemmings, which is OK, but they seem determined to take the rest of the world with them.

Whitman’s record, moreover, has been criticized vehemently by both conservatives and liberals, though on different issues and for different reasons. But that is precisely the point. Because she has never adhered to ideological orthodoxy of any stripe, Whitman embodies the one thing the left and right wings detest more than each other: true independence A total lack of any principles, or any knowledge of why she decides anything the way she does, leaving everyone to guess what she might do next and knowing that her response to any future crisis is totally unpredictable.

There. Fixed it for ya.
