don-o is a member of FreeRepublic, this weekend he is going to watch his son graduate from Marine Basic training. Please pray for this Hero's safety and congratulate him. He's One Proud Papa.

The day my youngest son graduated from marine boot was the proudest day of my life. That was almost 6 years ago and he is stationed 20 miles from home (finally). Go MCRD San Diego!!

God bless, him, his family, and son. I had the opportunity to watch my brother graduate at Paris Island, in 1968. He is a proud Marine, and I am a very proud brother.

My nephew graduated from basic at Parris Island back in November - I used to joke with him that he’s a “goooooood boooo-ah”. Now I have to tell him that he’s a good MAN!
