History buffs will get a treat this spring when what is being billed as a "Revolutionary Weekend" will be held at a host of historic sites throughout the greater Morristown area in late April, the National Park Service announced.

"Sure, we'll have a few muskets out there, but it will be a lot more than that,"

With New Jersey draconian anti-gun laws, there may be NO musket "assault weapons of their day" out there...

Nice! They hold similar events here in the Carolinas. An anniversary of the Battle of Savannah, GA, iirc, was a hugh event for Revolutionary War reenactors in recent years.

Maybe they could make the point that we gained our independence without committing suicide.
