...the decline started about 2 years ago...

Well, I really miss The Raven and Utah Girl...and Dog, and ABG(Anybody But Gore), and...I could go on...but the decline also started about the time of the Rudy Purge, which I think was totally unnecessary...but take heart! With the new crew in the West Wing, there will be a cornucopia of corruption to report on!!! ;-))

Now here is something serious I would like to bring up to see if anybody has any insight: gun and ammo sales are approaching record highs this year, spiking just after Nobama’s election. What should we think about this development? ;-))

We’ve seen the articles and pictures of nobama’s “civilian corps” and his statement that we need a civilian counterpart as well equiped and trained as our National Military. That means, to me, he wants to do something,,but what it is,,,is up for speculation and a lot of questions from our elected politicians and maybe even some of the media. I’m curious about his agenda of his.

I forgot to add..senior moment, because of nobama’s wish to begin a civilian corp equal to our National Military has moved a lot of us to purchase arms and ammunition and keep up our ability to use them.

Glad the **** is settling down for you - my s-i-l in Fort Wayne said they would probably go sledding today so she would send me pictures - she thinks I miss the **** - I don’t miss it at all!! I see plenty of it on TV!! It’s nice and sunny and warm here AND the Arizona Cardinals are STILL in the playoffs - miracles do happen once in awhile!

Did you catch any of the Bush 41 aircraft carrier ceremony? That was pretty nice to see! Doing my best to stay away from all the Blago-Bama-drama - it just raises my BP.

Guess I’ll stick with the stress of watching 24 tonight!! Jack is Back!!

Hi M.L. I thought you would be very interested in this. You will love it. I have suddenly taken a liking to the harp. It started a few days ago when I was listening to our classical music station when they were playing some harp accompaniment. And then on Friday, they played Rodrigo: Concierto De Aranjuez with Isabelle Moretti on harp and I was absolutely overwhelmed with enjoyment listening to the exquisite performance she did. I am getting ready to order that CD. Today I bought "The Most Relaxing Harp Album in the World....Ever", because I couldn't find Isabelle's CD locally.

I am also a big Vivaldi fan (a HUGE harpsichord fan while I am studying advanced calculus) and just bought a CD of the "100 Best of Vivaldi". I am loading up my music collection to listen to all day on America's next Day of Infamy on January 20, 2009.

I am even "just thinking" of contacting a local harpist for lessons! Just thinking, mind you.

HA! Blago-bama-drama! That’s a good one. Did you see Blago’s presser on Friday? What a fruitcake, with apologies to fruitcakes...

I've never watched more than 1 episode of that show...from the 2nd year I believe!

Remember when Kattracks and John Huang used to post so many threads every night?

Oh, I love Rodrigo. Glad you found it so enjoyable. da Falla is another favorite of mine (Spanish too, but slightly earlier than Rodrigo, I’m pretty sure.)
