On the economy, FDR-like he will throw money at everything. Folks, this guy has absolutely copied FDR's playbook when it comes to "public works jobs," having the government "create jobs," etc. Part II of that is incredibly high taxes on all the real producers. The only thing that could ameliorate that is the fact that Rubin is still there, and Rubin is the guy who kept Clinton in line by warning him about those "f . . . ing bond traders." Freepers won't like this, but Rubin was a far better economics guy than anyone in the Bush administration, and I hate to say that, because personally I like Ben Bernanke. But Rubin at least understood deficits.
On foreign policy, Obama will be taken for so many rides by foreign leaders and terrorists that he'll be viewed as the high school tramp. One word and he'll drop his skirt.
That said, for me personally, this is very lucrative: a conservative writer is MUCH better off in a Dem administration. Already, my book 48 Liberal Lies is in its 6th printing !!! So, sadly, I have to use the Saturday Night Live line and say "Obama ben bery bery good to me," without meaning to do so.
Pain.
