It is a beautiful park. My daughter transferred to college out there three years ago and we took a side trip to Yellowstone when we went out to see how she was doing. It was mid-October. The wildlife was abundant as were the fall colors. The only thing missing were the throngs of tourists and their motor homes, other than a few. Long story short is that it ended up costing us less to support three kids in college in Idaho than one locally, where the taxes are sky high.
I just wish the airline tickets were cheaper. If I didn't have to work for a living Idaho and Wyoming would be high on my list of ideal places to live. There are some areas of Idaho where the Democrats don't even bother to field a candidate for local offices-- it is between the Republicans and the Constitution Party. There must be something in the air or water which grows such good sense.
