Why didn’t Anderson pull her hair out?
She has admitted she has Tourettes and I’m not at all surprised. No control of what comes out of her mouth and yet she has 2 Emmys for it. I tried to watch it because I do like Anderson Cooper, but she was insulting everything that moved, spoke, etc.
Is CNN going to get fined?
No. It's cable and the FCC has no jurisdiction for decency standards on cable - at least not with respect to language.
I don't know if CNN is gay, but Anderson Cooper certainly is (allegedly). And, I must say that this exchange with Griffen is the gayest I've ever heard Mr. Cooper. He usually stays WAY in the closet.

She also told Wolf Blitzer, on air via phone, ‘Wolf, you’re boring me. Can we drop Wolf?’ something to that effect. I agreed with that assessment but found it odd that she’s so free to denigrate CNN’s peeps. They are wide open to the gay culture, eh?
