Why doesn't Patrick Fitzgerald care about this? *VANITY*

Posted on 12/29/2008 1:50:03 PM PST by dascallie

Posted below, but the point is, there is some contradictory evidence that O DID meet with Blag about the senate seat.

Everybody is in cahoots with everybody to protect O it seems:

>>I just do not get what is happening these days....we had two very clear news items posted on Tri Connect describing how O was to meet with Blag that afternoon, then a followup story AFTER the meeting took place.

Not to mention the now fading, soon to be forgotten, memory of Axlerod's very clear "I know he has talked with the govenor" etc... comment on video.

How did all this just vaporize as if it never occurred?<<

Lying to voters is not against the law. Lying to prosecutors is. So as long as they say the right stuff to Fitz, they are clear..............

It’s fairly easy when a despot surrounds himself with enough willing cannon fodder...

It’s an ongoing case. Besides, it’s pretty clear that Blago will drag team Zero into it one way or another.

I’d just like to see some direct explanation or exploration of this, by the press, publicized meeting.
How in the world can that be swept under the rug?

After January 20th all 92 US Attorneys will submit their resignations to President Obama. Obama will then decide who to retain and who to replace. Patrick Fitzgerald wants to be retained.
If retained he will then be an employee of Attorney General Eric Holder (if he is confirmed) and Barack Hussein Obama.

so, does this require another law suit attempt ( like the bc suits) to try and get this out in the open?

This is most flagrant shell game i have ever seen—with a million witnesses ( or however many eyeballs saw the articles).

It is like O is so emboldened, his team is allowed to merely turn their heads and walk the other way.

It’s not Fitzgeralds job to talk about this.

It’s the media that is failing us.

Because merely meeting and talking to Blago about the Senate seat, how many ever times, is not a crime. Only if there is “pay to play” does it become a crime.

Obama denied doing it, does lying count?

No, legally it doesn’t count, he wasn’t under oath when he said it.

Do you really have to be under oath to obstruct justice?

"It’s not Fitzgeralds job to talk about this. "It’s the media that is failing us."
This is the correct surmise. The media should be questioning and investigating whether the alleged meeting between Blago and O ever took place. That said, it is conceivable --(not necessarily probable)--that the meeting never took place. A lot of news stories that are reported are never confirmed before being aired and/or printed. For example, if the wire service sends a story on its daily roundup that says Blago is slated to meet with Obama, that will get reported -- without someone calling to find out if the meeting actually took place. What's apparent here is that somebody, at some point, within the Obama administration, told the media he was meeting with Blago. Why? But I think Fitzgerald is going to make his move before Jan. 20. If it happens, remember I said so!
