That’s nice to hear. There’s nothing worse than fixing a meal and have a guest say, “oh, I don’t do red meat”. I about fainted when someone did that to me, after I’d marinated and Roomey grilled it...thank goodness it was HIS cousin...Then to top it all off...I’d done an Angel food cake with raspberry rumtopf...and she didn’t do sweets either. She was a unexpected arrival travelling back to FL, so we invited her to spend the night and rest.
I was ready for it. Not that I had any pithy comebacks prepped, but I just felt that since that is the way she is, she doesn’t really mean anything personal about it. We were all pleasantly surprised.
