A series of photos newly discovered by Time magazine were taken three decades ago and capture 20-year-old college student Barack "Barry" Obama suavely striking a pose in a leather jacket and dragging on a cigarette.
Taken during a 1980 photo shoot by Occidental College pal Lisa Jack, the snapshots show that the freshman was already showing off the quiet confidence of a future president.
"He was very charismatic even then," Jack recalled of the brief encounter at her off-campus Los Angeles apartment.
"He was really cute. What else does a 20-year-old girl remember?" she told Time, which published the rare shots in its year-end issue that names the president-elect 2008's Person of the Year. "He was a little nervous," she said. "You can see he's just posing, initially, and as the shoot goes on, he starts to come out."

I guess since I smoke I could give a damn about him being a smoker, big deal and it isn’t even news worthy. He is involved in in many other dealings that needs revealing, it is so childish to berate him cuz he smokes.

And once again the media proves it can’t add! If the photos were taken in 1980 Jr wasn’t even 20! He would turn 20 during his infamous 1981 trip with college roommates from Pakistan. Why should it bother anyone if the presstitutes don’t bother with mere facts about the Messiah. arggggggggg
There are far more telling aspects that render him unacceptable.
Does smoking make him EEEEVIL????
Maybe he even eats (gasp!) RED MEAT!

There seems to be a pattern emerging.
Anything such as investigating Chicago corruption that could lead to Obama has to be avoided lest we cause "a constitutional crisis." That is the opinion of some pundits.
Stop the birth certificate thing -- if it turns out to be embarrassing for Obama it could lead to "a constitutional crisis!"

...I smoke too and couldn’t care less. What bothers me is his entire life is a sham, a hoax and incredibly anti-american, and a lot of it is captured in pictures and film. The result is he’s a total embarrassment. The day he’s sworn in will be 2nd only to election day, as one of the worse and most shameful days in our country’s history. Thanks to 64 million uneducated idiots.
