I swear, the PC bullsh*t is all an attempt to make history an unsearchable riddle. Who is going to be able to remember all the wild spellings and variations?

The name Chinggis is how the Mongols pronounced it. The other variants, Jenghiz or Genghis, are Turkish/muslim terms and are not favored by Mongols.
