Try the prescription drug Zovirex........ask your doctor.

If you have an erection lasting more than 4 yours, don't call your doctor, call your friends.........

May I ask if either of you take antiviral medications?

My wife takes them. I don't think they do anything and are expensive as hell.

I get cold sores from playing tennis in the sun or after I run following a break from exercise. I wish they could find out what deficiency is created by the exercise so I could boost it to deter cold sores.

If you have an erection lasting more than four hours, consider enabling “safe search” on your Google home page.

Reactions by the body cause damage too. Lack of intellectual rehab exercise and chronic brain dehydration and fever have also been linked to such degenerescence.

I don’t know if it is such good news if it linked to the Herpes family. Varicella-zoster virus seems immortal as far as human immunology goes. Herpes simplex II is the “gift that keeps on giving.”

Oh no! This might effect Paris Hilton's mental faculties!

I’ve been taking L-Lysine daily since I had shingles (Herpes Zoster) 10 years ago. I took Acyclovir during my outbreak, but I’d rather stick to an amino acid rather than a strong antiviral that could possibly interfere with the immune system.

Hmmmm... my grandma died from Alzheimer’s and I don’t recall her ever having a cold sore. I didn’t get them either until I turned 32. Mine or more stress related than anything. And tomato too.

acyclovir is a prescription drug and comes in pill form and a cream. There is a over the counter that works very well called Abreva. It is expensive $15. for a tiny tube but it is very affective and it only takes a tiny bit to cover the cold sore. If you have a cold sore don't be scared off by the price, it is worth it.

See comments above. Lemon balm (the plant) may be useful in controlling herpes. Read it on the Internet somewhere.
Let me know how it works. (Having some Lemon Balm tea right now. It has a nice taste and is warm and and I have a cough.)

I’ve never had a cold sore (I’m 51) and no one in my immediate family has. None of my close friends have had one either. Now watch, I’ll get one tomorrow.

You’ve probably had one and didn’t notice it. In most cases they are minor and barely noticeable.
