Just a very nice advertisement on a news site I view. Portraits for mothers to be
That picture of the palm holding the baby is the same as the first photo of my son and I. It was taken the day after we arrived home for my wife to send to her parents. In that one he is looking right at me and my palm is about 1/2 the size of his body. He is now almost as tall as his mother.
Now 20 years later, they are the best of friends. We have memories.
I was kinda like that when my mom was pregnant with my sister. When she was a baby, it felt as if all the attention was towards my sister.
Now we extremely don’t like each other.
I’d like to nominate the current Kay Jewelers advertisement.
They show a happy, good looking, young black couple, with the man getting down on his knees to propose.
Exactly right...this is the standard to which we should all, including and especially young black people, hope and aspire to.
If the only thing that Obama accomplished was to set an example of a good married black guy, I’d be happy.
Of course, I’d be happy if he accomlpished nothing else.
Anyhow, that one ad makes me happy every time I see it. Nothing would solve so many problems in America as Black peoples’ Weddings.
Ping for momma with newborn twins... hehehe
