This is a difficult concept to spell out. Basically I think it would be helpful to: 1). Identify advertisers to boycott. 2). Identify alternative companies to support.

If we start an all-purpose boycott/alternative thread, maybe we can have ongoing input into the effects/impact of boycotting a station/product/movie, etc.

Any thoughts?

Keyword boycott will lead to some companies that are being boycotted. But within each thread would be discussions of the reason for the thread (or perhaps another keyword like Boycotttimewarner or Boycottviacom, which then takes to more concrete reasons for the boycott).

Different people will choose to support or avoid a company for different reasons. It is difficult to find one “catch all” boycott list.

I like this idea, and would like the info. I have boycotted MSM for years, I refuse to watch ABC/CBS/NBC national news and haven’t bought the local newspaper for years. But after this last few months display of extreme bias, I’d like to go the extra step to put these clowns out of business.

I suppose a boycott of Vanities would be asking too much...

Boycotts are useless unless you inform the companies why they are being targeted and what they need to do to release it.

Oh ya, and your boycott has to have teeth...

I would like to see the same thing. I have done quite a bit of research this week to come up with a list not only of companies to boycott, but also of companies that support conservative causes. I would love for there to be a separate place for the collection of that information.

I’d like to see a boycott of or protests against the companies owned by all the rich capitalists who support Democrats, because I think they do so to buy protection against leftist wackos and anarchists. Obama won because he had more money, and the cowardly rich Democrats who supported him are the people who gave him most of that money. They’re no different than the cowards who support the mob with protection payoffs.
