It might not change the election, but it sure feels good paying back those who dissed this great nation by supporting Barack Obama.
Actually, it's the method which is so sweet. (cont)
"By the way, did you support Barack Obama in the election?"
If they answer no, I go through with the purchase with my usual politeness.
If they answer Yes, I say.... "Well you must not need the money that bad if you're willing to vote for more taxes, so I should probably shop someplace else."
Yes, it takes some balls. But it feels great.
I plan to keep it up until I feel less depressed.
That could be another four years.
I would have to tell you to pound sand. But that’s just me.
Not that it does’nt sound good on paper, but I’d advise against it. Just because of the risk of personal injury.
I’ll remember this with a cartfull of groceries.
..... aaaaaand .... it’s been posted before ....
LOL. And it’s all frozen food too.
The way you word the question infers you are an Obama supporter.
Did it occur to you that the person behind the counter might say “yes” to either Obama or McCain so as not to incur the wrath of any customers? What if the cashier is only an hourly employee? Did you make sure to check with the owners?
It’s idiotic crap like this that leaves me doubt as to why conservatives lost this election.
To each his own.
I have no problem supporting only those with whom I agree.
In years past, I didn't view the Democrat candidates as so dastardly they could change this country beyond what we could fix with the next election.
With Obama, all bets are off....
In just the past 24 hours, he has vowed to release captured terrorists from Guantanamo, he has vowed to lift any and all restrictions on abortions on US soil and with any foreign aid.
He has also signalled he will overturn the offshore drilling agreement that GWB just worked out last month.
Hey, I could be wrong, but Obama is just getting warmed up. Hold on to your hat... and anything else you value. He is going to the extremes just to stick it in the eye of GWB, conservatives, and anyone else who "doesn't make me proud" to be an American.
I don’t have a problem with anyone deciding not to do business with people and business’ that supported Obama, my point is it looks like you are deciding on the spur of the moment by asking one employee.
Ready—>Fire—>Aim
And you had to blurt it all out to other FReepers by posting one more stupid ass vanity.
I had clicked on the Chat forum to post this.
Isn't that where this was posted?
Sorry I was rough on you, I’m having a bad week since last Tue.
Here’s what I do. I go into a local business or shop and gather up the items I normally buy.... and just before I ring up my items, I ask the owner or clerk...
“By the way, did you support Barack Obama in the election?”
LOL LOL Way to go! Novel idea. It’s going to be a rude awakening for the dumbasses when the chickens come home to roooossttt in their yards too!
How long before you’re banned from every retail establishment in your community?
only the ones that supported Obama.
I don't mess with a place where only the clerk supported Obama.
In reality, it's not easy to find a business where you know absolutely whom the owner supported for president.
only a handful so far. But I am determined to not support those with whom I so vociferously disagree.
If I discover a business’s employee is an obamabot, then I expect the highest standard of service. obama said we were going to have to step out of our comfort zone. My previous comfort zone was giving people the benefit of the doubt. So now I am undertaking the uncomfortable step of reporting
bad service, bad attitude or any other thing that makes my shopping experience less than perfect.
Of course, I tend to only hold obama supporters to this new standard.
Right on! :)
