I did not say that. I just said there are many new observations and theory’s that would point to a much younger Sun/Earth/Planets than the popular 3.5 Billion years or so.

No, no, I wasn’t trying to say you were saying that. I was throwing out a more general statement about where humanity was very recently in thinking about the world and where we are now—even as we continue to learn and reexamine theories. I threw out the definite number as opposed to a (frustrating) search for answers—which are still changing as we learn more.
