The San Anselmo Town Council on Tuesday elected not to annex an 11-acre parcel targeted for development near the end of San Francisco Boulevard. The parcel is on the east end of Sacramento Avenue, near the Sorich Ranch Open Space Park.

"We didn't see that there was any advantage for the town," Mayor Ted Freeman said. "In order to develop it, other parcels in the area would have to be annexed, too."

The property owner, Jerry Draper, has made some residential development proposals that have not been approved, Freeman said.

In socialist Marin County, no less, where any development of residential property (except for multi-million dollar mansions) is looked down upon. This county is the perfect example of what the Democrat party has become, one that caters to rich elitists.
