I'm not a fan of the post-Beatles Paul McCartney, but Paul had much more financial success (even with the costly divorce) than either George or Ringo had. George probably had more critical acclaim than Paul (and, of course, Ringo), however. Ringo places third in both dimensions. I exclude John from the comparisons because his post-Beatles career was so much shorter than the others’.

Ringo Starr is still alive??? He appeared at a near-by theater several times to a sold out crowd. My brother-in-law liked it so much that he went again the following year. Maybe if Ringo wants to be left alone, he should stop touring with his band.
