Yes, I think this election throws away all past logic and will be a tossup by election day. Obviously until the Bailout situation is taken care of, McCain will have no upward movement. Hopefully we will have a bill that the House GOP can live with it by Friday 10/3.
This gives McCain a full month to hammer Obama on Taxes and Acorn etc......

McCain is stuck on "Working Across the Aisle". He is not going to change those spots. He is not going to criticize Democrats. He is a victim of the Republican culture of the Senate, otherwise known as the Rodney King principle. It requires that we all just get along as it's highest purpose. Unfortunately the Democrats honor no such rule and that is why they win elections. Ruthlessness is a much better weapon. We are learning that lesson once again.
